A step-by-step guide to hosting a virtual conference

The thing I miss most about conferences is the swag (aka "stuff we all get").

Swag notwithstanding, I've never had an easier time attending conferences than in the past few months. All it takes is a few clicks, I don't need to get anything dry-cleaned and I can log out if I get bored.

Which got me thinking: With the barrier to entry so low for launching and attending virtual conferences, why aren't more companies hosting virtual events of their own?

So: After doing a bunch of research and piloting a few small-scale events of our own, we created a blog post outlining all the steps involved in planning and launching a virtual conference.

It turns out virtual conferences are a) even easier to host than we initially thought and b) surprisingly effective and delightfully affordable ways to engage an audience in quarantine.

See for yourself. Read "How to host a virtual conference on a shoe-string budget".

Remotely,
Michelle
