Project Awakening, the web3 game from the studio behind Eve Online, announced the official project name as Eve Frontiers, and revealed that players will be able to launch their own crypto tokens in-game, bringing a new level to the idea of player-driven economies! This is a super-cool feature that could have a long-term effect on the concept of web3 gaming economies. They also plan to allow players to program entities within the game, creating their own markets, quest hubs, etc. This is another very interesting feature and a continuing trend in letting players create and earn. And though their first blockchain-based phone was slow to gain adoption, Solana Labs is back with their Solana Seeker smartphone. Just announced this weekend at the Token2049 event, the Seeker phone promises an improved experience over their first venture.
