Since The Intercept launched 10 years ago, we’ve won awards, broken blockbuster scoops, and triggered major policy changes through hard-hitting accountability journalism.

And yet in all these years, we’ve never once won an award for our fundraising emails.

Look, we understand that no one really enjoys getting fundraising emails. Frankly, they can be annoying. But the reader donations that come from these fundraising campaigns are a key part of what makes everything else we do possible.

To keep our operations fully funded through the end of this year, we need to raise $400,000 by September 30.
