He Studied 260k Google Results, and Here's What He Found

I don't know about you, but I don't have time to sit down and study 260,000 Google SERPS.

But I'm sure glad that someone else does!

Brie Moreau and his team recently did a data driven study to better understand how Google views content and why things rank.

Some of the findings are actually quite applicable to smaller publishers.

How can the "little guys" outrank larger "authority sites"?

Some of the topics covered are the importance of information gain, overoptimization, how CRO and A/B testing will help your site in the SERPS, and focusing on the user experience with your content.
