Your personality is made up of a bunch of beliefs/principles that have been dumped on you.

Each of these beliefs can either handicap you as you build your business or will be your superpower.

Let me give you an example:

My family grew up in a difficult spot. Because my father got scammed by someone close to us early on, I had to become very conscious of money. The only person I could watch to teach me about money was my father.

My father had a very scarce way of dealing with money because of the circumstances he was put it.

I unlocked a belief system at a young age: Money is scarce, guard it.

It took me years into my journey to realize that this is the wrong way to view money.

Now why am I telling you this?

Because every day you are operating with a set of belief systems that can be holding you back from operating at your true potential.

Some could be around your fears. Others around unneeded desires.

Another example is all these flexing gurus on your social media feeds. They convinced you that to be successful, you have to make a bit of money, buy a Vancleef bracelet and buy a supercar to PROVE to the world that you’re “rich”.

The problem is most people (not you because you read my newsletter) believe it. They get indoctrinated into this loop and boom a new belief system is formed in their heads.

Every piece of content you consume can shape the way you think. Enough repetitions of a specific message and you believe it yourself.

MK Ultra had a study, it takes 2500 repetitions to change someone’s mind.
The Father of Propaganda says “Repetition leads to conviction” in his book.

Now how do you identify belief systems that are dragging you down?

Through UNCOMPROMSIING AMOUNTS OF SELF HONESTY.

Every weekend, sit down with just you, a pen, and a notebook. Shut off all your devices and ask yourself

“Did I operate at my fullest potential this week?”

Be COMPLETELY HONEST with yourself. The answer will almost always be NO.

Then ask yourself “Why”. Keep writing the answers to the “Why” again and again and again until you realize the DEEP belief system that is holding you back.

Your goal is to write out THE TRIGGERS that activate this belief system and write a solution on how to change the situation as they come up.

This will help you replace your negative belief system with something better.
