This (on-sale!) mattress is so nice, one of us bought it twice

A mattress is not, ideally, something you buy multiples of in quick succession. But one pandemic, one breakup, and one cross-country move later, head of newsletters Sofia Sokolove found herself doing just that.

It’s a good thing that mattress—a Leesa, and one of Wirecutter’s favorite memory-foam mattresses—is excellent. It feels cushiony to sink into every evening, yet supportive enough to ensure mornings free of achey backs. And it’s incredibly soft. Not in a fluffy-soft way, but in a deeply cozy, inviting way that is still cradling enough to keep her and her pup, Ellie, from stirring one another in bed.

She writes: “In a perfect world, I would still be sleeping on my original Leesa. But such is life. And happily, alongside all of its other great qualities, the Leesa is a great value. Especially important if you fall in and out of love and have to buy two, though I sincerely hope you never have to.”
