Registrants and attendees will also have access to recorded presentations, slide decks, and other post event resources.

5. Where will SEJ eSummit be hosted?

SEJ eSummit will be held entirely online via Hopin, a live virtual events platform that allows professional communities to learn, interact, and connect with peers from anywhere in the world.

SEJ eSummit has been meticulously planned to simulate a true conference experience for attendees which could not have been possible without a tool like Hopin. We’re excited to bring you a conference experience that includes all the typical ingredients you’ve come to expect from an in-person event including actionable education, industry connections, and information on tools and services.

6. How do I know I registered correctly?

After processing your registration for SEJ eSummit, you will receive a few emails…

  1. An email from Eventbrite with your ticket information. No action needed.
  2. An email from our host platform, Hopin. In order to access the event, you must click the ACCEPT REGISTRATION button in this email. Please note that after this you will be prompted to agree to GDPR compliance. (Click here for a visual.)
  3. After you accept registration, you will receive a second email from Hopin confirming that “You’re in!”. Be sure to click the ADD CALENDAR button in this email.

7. What will the day be like?

The day will run from 10:00am to 9:00pm ET (7:00am to 6:00pm PT) with five 20-minute breaks for networking and booth exploration. The meat and potatoes of SEJ eSummit will take place in the main stage arena featuring 3 keynotes, 10 speaker sessions, and 6 live Q&A panels. In addition, live “activity sessions” will be hosted simultaneously throughout the day to include workshops and activities like live yoga, meditation, how to make a container garden or deep dish pizza, and a DJ set.

8. What will the content be like?

Content is tailored for advanced digital marketers in the trenches of SEO, paid search, social media, and content marketing.

Topics covered will include: search engine optimization, technical/advanced SEO, international SEO for ecommerce, Javascript, Google happenings, marketing psychology, E-A-T rich snippets, content marketing strategy, brand storytelling, social media in the time of COVID-19, paid search, paid social, and how to survive the new normal as a digital marketer.

9. Is SEJ eSummit a live event?

Aside from recording main stage speaker presentations and keynotes in order to avoid any technical issues and to ensure a polished delivery for attendees, SEJ eSummit will be a live event. There will be one 100% live and interactive panel discussion on technical SEO. Speakers will be taking questions from the audience in real time and will stick around throughout the day for networking and chat engagements. Expo booth sessions, workshops, and activity sessions on the wellness, music, and how-to tracks will be 100% live.

10. Will sessions be available to watch later?

Main stage speaker sessions and keynotes will be available to watch one week after the live event and will be accessible only to those who registered. Live Q&As, workshops, sponsor demos, and other live activity sessions, such as the yoga, meditation, and how-tos, will not be available to watch later so we encourage you to attend the live event if you can!

11. What will the networking component be like?

Networking will be one-on-one video chat. Upon entering the networking space, you will be greeted with a button that reads “Are You Ready?”. Once you click that button, the Hopin platform will match you with another eSummit attendee. You two will have five minutes to get to know each other and exchange contact information before moving on to your next connection. You may leave the networking session at any time by clicking on the “Leave” button in the top right corner of the screen. If you have any issues during your networking session, then you can flag your experience within the Hopin platform and a team member will be there to assist you immediately.
