NichePursuits.com - Meet Chat.com, the Google Killer?

Yesterday, someone tweeted out 8 characters that could change the search landscape forever.

That someone was Sam Altman of OpenAI (you know, the company behind ChatGPT).

His tweet?

"chat.com"

That's it.

That's the entire tweet!

How could this impact search?

Well, OpenAI also just released SearchGPT, which appears to be a direct competitor of Google.

And now with a much more "consumer friendly" and highly memorable domain, like Chat.com...they are clearly positioning themselves to be a "mass market" search engine...or chat engine if you will.

This topic and others deserve a much more in-depth discussion to explain what's going on and how this might impact small publishers.
