The reelection of Donald Trump has given Israel a green light to enforce that vision in the most savage and extreme way imaginable. The slaughter we’ve witnessed over the past 13 months has been shocking to the conscience. But what comes next could be unimaginably worse. The Intercept believes journalists have a moral obligation to bear witness and document this brutality. We refuse to turn away or go along with the mindless pro-Israel groupthink that dominates most U.S. news media.
