No One’s Handing You a Business on a Silver Platter

“Be the person who deserves it.”

It sounds like the inside of a Hallmark card, but Aaron took this idea inside our community, and made it a very real, very personal playbook for success. His realization?

Stop waiting for the universe to drop your dream business into your lap. If you want to own something real, become the person who deserves it.

Here’s exactly how Aaron did that:

First, he took a hard look at his effort in the mirror and decided it was time to upgrade. No more sitting around hoping a “perfect” deal would magically appear.

Then he literally opened a notepad, and wrote, “I am a successful acquisition entrepreneur.” Manifestation — often cringe, but the damn technique exists for a reason.

On that pad, he listed EXACTLY what he thought that person would do. Not what they’d hope for, but what they’d actually get off their ass and do every single day.

Here’s how he broke it down:

Aaron realized that if his dream business had magically landed in his lap six months ago, he probably would’ve lost it. Why?

Because he hadn’t built himself into the person who could keep it.

So here’s your challenge today:

Stop wishing for the ideal opportunity to fall into your inbox and start becoming the person who deserves it.

Ask yourself, “What would the business buyer I want to become do TODAY?”

Write it down. Make it your checklist. Set your benchmarks. And, for the love of all that is entrepreneurial, stop waiting for a damn genie.
