A round-up of the 5 most interesting sites added to Raptive and Mediavine over the last 30 days

Mediavine and Raptive had a busy 30 days - adding about 136 new sites between them (as tracked by Display Ad Daily).

As a reminder, this monthly round-up email showcases sites that just recently met the traffic requirements of Mediavine or Raptive.

Their traffic charts almost all look like this...

That way we're looking at sites that Google is rewarding right now - as we speak.

1. Wandering Disney

You would think at this point the Disney niche would be saturated, but here is a DR 15 site getting nearly 40,000 visitors a month!

Looking more closely at the site the images don't appear original and the content is possibly AI? Hard to tell exactly.

That said, Wandering Disney has been around since 2015 and the owner has been pretty steadily adding content ever since, so who knows.

Regardless, this site is winning!

2. Pokemon Zone

Another niche you'd think would be saturated by now - Pokemon! A card game invented back in 1996.

Pokemon zone offers everything from a beginners guide on how to play the game, to reviews of various collectors decks and details about what makes those decks so special.

There's also a dedicated page per card that explains what the card is, and how you can use it in the game.

Pokemon Zone even has a 5,000 person Discord server/community that you can join to chat with other Pokemon enthusiasts!

3. Syllable Counter

Such a simple concept - paste in your text, and Syllable Counter will tell you how many syllables your text contains.

The founders say Syllablecounter.io is "a tool for counting, creating, and improving your poetry. Whether you’re writing haikus, limericks, sonnets, or music, we want to be the poetry tutor you've always wanted but never had."

Beyond the actual tool itself, this website is basically a MASSIVE database of words, targeting keywords like "4 syllable nouns", "2 syllable verbs", "10 syllable words", etc.

Over 13,000 pages! Wild.

4. An Organized Season

An Organized Season gets me excited because it's such a classic blog! DR 24 site with 27,000 visitors a month, and growing.

The main focus of the site is how to get, and stay organized - but there is a big emphasis on DIY projects as well.

For example, the page that gets the most traffic by far is "Inexpensive way to make a DIY advent calendar". So random.

The owners no doubt put in a lot of work but overall, it's so simple! And it's working. That's encouraging.

5. If Only April

Another classic blog! This time run by a stay at home mom.

If Only April is just an old school DIY blog.

April shows you how she decorates her kids bedroom, organizes their toys, and even how to make your own kitchen table!

This site is a class "niche site" and it's taking off. Good sign.

Will these sites continue to grow?

Who knows.

But it's very promising that sites that resemble old school blogs / niche sites are still winning and getting accepted into Raptive and Mediavine.

That excites me.
