"When working with databases, remote servers, or any other external entity, it's a good practice to wrap such entities in another layer of abstraction, often called the Repository layer.

This way, you can isolate the behavior or the communication model to the DataSource, and if you change your DataSource or introduce a new one, you don't have to change any of the call sites where you call the Repository — you only change the implementation!"

"Room can be extremely useful when working with complex relations between entities and objects. But to make it as easy as possible to connect everything later in your app, make sure to think about your entities, and how they relate to each other, before implementing the database.
