Over the weekend, it’s become clear that not only have the President and First Lady been infected with Covid-19; but there is also a full-blown outbreak at the White House. Today, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany and two of her deputies announced that they tested positive for Covid-19, and all White House staffers have been urged to stay home if they get any Covid-19 symptoms. How is the White House working to control the outbreak? Spokespeople, including White House doctor Sean Conley, say that contact tracing is underway. However, multiple people have reported that they haven’t yet been contacted by the CDC or other contact tracing experts. Meanwhile, President Trump has announced that he plans to leave the hospital this evening, but will continue to get treatments of remdesivir and dexamethasone back at the White House.
