Forbes - The Virus Is Still Here

As America draws closer to the end of the 2020 elections, Covid-19 cases have been skyrocketing. Although President Trump said that the pandemic would be over by election day (more on that below), that clearly hasn’t happened. In fact, yesterday the U.S. broke the daily Covid-19 record again, with more than 120,000 new infections recorded on Thursday. In an interesting twist, it seems like the areas that have been hit the worst by Covid-19 were regions that voted for President Trump, while regions that have done better in dealing with the pandemic were more likely to vote for Vice President Joe Biden.
