💰 Making $17k/mo helping people get better at coding. This is Matt's story. He's the founder of Frontend Mentor, a platform that helps people improve their front-end coding skills by providing them with real projects and challenges.

Revenue has grown consistently month-over-month since adding a subscription tier in August last year; it's currently sitting at $17k. Here's Frontend Mentor's story.​

📄 Growing a resume maker to $1.5k/mo. Fernando claims to have built the "easiest" resume maker. He has been working on this as a side-project since he launched it in 2018.

+700,000 resumes have been downloaded from his platforms since its launch. SEO and word of mouth have been their two main acquisition channels. Here's his story.​

​Six stories of Mercado Libre. A deep-dive into the business model of the largest marketplace and Fintech in Latin America and one of Argentina's highest valued companies. It's a paid post, but even the free version is worth a read.

​Raising $11.5M for a VC fund. An interesting article explaining how the writer raised this amount to build her VC fund; many of the lessons and strategies are common for startup fundraising.

​Dead startup toys. MSCHF is an art startup that has been launching various funny and disruptive products and apps. This week, they dropped a collection of 5 toy versions of failed products, including Juicero and Theranos.
