Europe's fintech M&A boom: in data

It's been an exciting year for European fintech exits this year so far — over the past six months we've seen €22.6bn worth of them.

This is music to some VCs' ears — like Eurazeo Growth and Valar Ventures — who have cashed in big returns from big exits like Wise's £8bn direct listing and Visa’s planned acquisitions of Tink for €1.8bn and Currencycloud for £700m.

But which segments are thriving? And will the momentum continue for the rest of the year?

Isabel Woodford reports.

Why startups struggle to get UX right the first time

But how do you give your users top-level personalisation, comprehensiveness and simplicity?

Here are five golden rules to help you.
