If Taffy Brodesser-Akner writes it, we will read. For the uninitiated, she’s a bestselling author known for her master profiles of up-and-comers like Tom Hanks and Gwyneth Paltrow. But yesterday on Twitter, she asked the No. 1 question on everyone’s mind right now: What’s for lunch? 

A mix of inspirational, delicious, and downright strange responses from notable journalists, authors, and playwrights ensued. If you don’t have time to read through the monster thread, we’ve pulled some of our favorite menu items: 

• Grace Panetta, a senior politics reporter at Insider, made us feel like stepping up our meal-prep game when she shared a set of beautifully prepared tuna poke bowls (click here for photographic evidence).
• Playwright Jason Robert Brown said he enjoys a hearty salad “with mesclun greens, cherry tomatoes, Persian cucumbers, hard-boiled egg, dried cranberries, roasted cashews, and Brianna’s balsamic dressing.” And Justin’s dark chocolate peanut butter cups for dessert. 
• Vanity Fair Executive Editor Claire Howorth offered up a menu for good and bad work days:
