TikTok Amazon Finds

TikTok and Amazon rank as the two most popular ad platforms, with Tiktok being the top-ranking innovative platform, according to Kantar's Media Reaction report. With that in mind, the latest Tiktok trend that is surging in popularity on Amazon is the “Y2K Crochet Top”, bringing back the fashion trends of the early 2000s. This isn’t the first time a fashion trend has been recycled; however, it’s very unlikely that sellers are still holding on to crocheted clothing inventory from 20 years ago. 

This keyword has taken our 10th slot in today’s newsletter and has gone from selling 55 units per day to 183 units per day in the past two weeks. Influencers have a major role to play here as influencer marketing gets bigger and bigger every day, which gives sellers a chance to trust them with their promotions.

The announcement definitely got fans excited, as products across the board have seen an increase in sales on Amazon, leading to a drastic increase of 335 units sold in the past few days.
