Tip of the Day

Tired of misplacing your gloves? Shove them in your coat pocket when you get home: if it’s cold enough to grab your coat then your gloves will be right there with it.

It’s that Wednesday-time-of-week again which means it’s also that camel-fact-time-of-week again too! One day we’re going to run out of camel facts but today isn’t that day apparently. The earliest fossil evidence of camels dates back to the Eocene era around 50 million years ago and is from, of all places, what is present-day South Dakota.

Hey maybe that could be your prompt for National Novel Writing Month: two paleontologists walk into a South Dakotan bar both independently having discovered evidence of the oldest camels. And then?

If that’s a bit much, don’t worry we have some practical things to chat about today too! Like the best products to help you sleep cool when, even with winter approaching, you sleep too hot. And speaking of winter approaching, Daylight Saving Time ends this coming weekend so use these hacks to avoid feeling groggy.

And water cooler trivia? Even though it’s camel fact day, you know we have some. On this day in 1956, The Wizard of Oz aired on television. It was viewed by over 45 million people and the extra exposure made the already popular moving a classic.
