My Winning Content Process + Link Whisper Deal Starts Today!

How do you scale a content process in order to publish large amounts of articles on a site, without sacrificing a ton of your own time?

Publishing 3 or 4 articles a month is one thing, but publishing 50, 100, or more articles a month is a whole other ball game.

Today, I want to share my content process for one of my sites.

However, before I jump into my detailed content process, I wanted to give you a heads up, that I've started a Black Friday sale on Link Whisper early!

Starting today, Link Whisper (my internal link building plugin) is $30 off the regular price!

This is perhaps the largest discount I ever offered; including last Black Friday!

Grab Link Whisper right here at $30 off!

Be sure to use discount code, "blackfriday" at checkout in order to get the discount.

As a heads up, this isn't publicly listed on the site at all. I'm not "publicly" listing this discount for a couple of days. So, now is your chance to get this deal early!

So, here's the exact process I use to scale content to 50, 100, or more articles a month.

First, I still personally do all my own keyword research. If I wanted to truly remove myself from the process, I'd need to find someone I'd trust to do all my keyword research.

Here's what happens after I find keywords I want to target for my site:

  • I add keywords to a master spreadsheet that all authors have access to.
  • Authors self assign themselves a few articles that they want to write.
  • They then use Market Muse and Google to figure out the proper article length and types of semantic keywords that will be needed.
  • Authors then create an article outline for my review in Trello. (Again, in order to truly remove myself, I'd need to find someone for this step).
  • I then approve or suggest changes to the outline in Trello, and move the card to "write".
  • This triggers a notification for authors to start writing the article. All authors have a WordPress author login, so they write directly in WordPress and format as they go.
  • I ask authors to do their best at formatting, adding images, and writing articles as they go. I have details videos and checklists that they follow.
  • They check their article "scores" in Market Muse to ensure that they have included the related phrases, etc to hit the SEO scores required.
  • Once authors are done writing their article, they move a trello card to have an Editor review the article.
  • The editor (not me) reviews the article for grammar, formatting, adds Yoast SEO details, adds affiliate links as needed, and other minor formatting issues.
  • The editor then moves the trello card to have a VA create a featured Canva image.
  • Once the VA creates and uploads the Canva image to the blog post, they move the Trello card for me to do a final check of the article.
  • Usually, I only need to review the article for a few minutes, and I hit publish!

But of course publishing the article is not the final step. As soon as the article goes live, I immediately use Link Whisper to find internal link opportunities TO that new article!

Link Whisper makes it extremely easy to find relevant internal links back to this new article, which of course is a massive time saver.

These new internal links provide fresh authority to these new articles, giving them a much better chance of ranking in Google.

The results?

Well, since I started following this process on one of my sites, I've seen consistant growth.

Here's a screenshot of just a small batch of articles that have been published in 2021. (Please note this screenshot ONLY shows organic traffic of this small batch of articles. This is NOT the total traffic of my site or even the total traffic of this small batch of articles).

As I scale my content process further, I expect this traffic to increase significantly in 2022. Especially as these articles age and gain their full potential in Google.

Overall, I hope you found reading about my content production process interesting!

The key is to have well documented processes and procedures. As a result, when I hire a new authors, I simply share a link to my master spreadsheet (that includes all my instructions and videos) and I just ask them to read the instructions on the spreadsheet. .

I don't have to "train" this process anymore, its all documented; which saves me a ton of time when I hire.

Oh, and as a final reminder, if you want to start realizing the power of internal links for your owns sites, you should definitely check out Link Whisper this week.

I use it every. single. day. as part of my content process and it simply works to make building internal links faster and easier.

You can get $30 off Link Whisper starting today!

Be sure to use discount code "blackfriday" at checkout in order to save $30 on your purchase.

Thanks again,

Spencer
