Before you Trade Today: Know the Economic Calendar! Also See This Weeks Most Anticipated Earnings (Note: Red Indicates an Earnings Loss [Not Miss] Consensus)

Commentary: Today on the economic calendar we have absolutely nothing … its New Years Eve. Evidently the government number crunchers don’t work on New Years Eve.

Two days ago I also published the Annual StockTips Report. Here I roll up all of my record and aggregate progress thus far. I additionally go into the sectors/industries I think are bullish & have some updates as to my plans for the newsletter moving forward. One such plan is to revamp the StockTips Daily Newsletter to a mostly text only model with the option to link to the research by clicking on the link next to the ticker. That way readers of the newsletter will no longer need to look at the same data every time & they’ll save on inbox data as well. You’ll still have the economic calendar, you’ll still have the insider trades & earnings, but rather than see all the same writeups over and over again I’ll have the tickers, with the most recent news about them, their status (P/L) since alerted, & the option to click on a link that will carry you to the template. Of course, all new additions will be included with full research on display, but after one day that data will be available by clicking the link. HIGHLIGHTED COMPANY OF THE DAY: VSTO (Vista Outdoors), Alright folks this was another StockTips call alerted on 12.06.2021 when markets were under mass panic. As this stock is well above 15% now, I can add it to the free section. It was not hard to understand given the market sell off that VSTO, which has traded sideways for nearly a year, was way lower than the fundamentals & the technicals (Though technicals only inform my initial buy in price) could justify.

The Market Cap had dropped below Enterprise Value (undervalued), they had a price to sales (PS) ratio of 0.91 (undervalued), PE was exceptionally low at (6.28T-5.00F Undervalued), PB was a little high by objective standards but this is not uncommon for retailers, a 3.27 current ratio clearly demonstrates that they can handle their debt (and can even take on more), their debt is reasonable with a debt to equity ratio of 62.59 (Many retailers are much higher), quarterly YoY earnings growth is nothing short of amazing, & their operating margin over the last 12 months was nearly 20%. Moreover as outdoor sporting goods were super bullish amid the holidays/hunting season (particularly ammo & firearms), & will likely continue to be so into the medium to long term 2022. In short, this was an easy call for anyone not panicking amid the turmoil experienced from late November to late December 2021. Am I selling at these prices? Hell no! There’s more juice to squeeze out of this fruit under normal market conditions.
