December 31, 2021

You know, I use a pretty decent phone. But I’ve been kind of annoyed with it lately, mainly because I’m still waiting for that dang Android 12 update. So imagine my surprise when I hear that Google is already working on Android 13 and its game-changing new features … dude, what about the software update you just released!?

The Android 13 update, codenamed “Tiramisu,” will debut a ton of killer features that Android users requested years ago—including notification tools that actually make sense. Can you believe that? Check out our top story to see all of Android 13’s leaked features a year early.

Other Highlights:

  • Tesla recalled over half a million cars due to some serious safety issues, and I’m not talking about wonky self-driving software.
  • Vinyl records just had their biggest sales week since 1991. If you still own a CD player, it’s probably crying right now.
  • Last month, Google pushed a Pixel 6 update to patch a laundry list of bugs. But the patch introduced more bugs … Anyway, Google now says that some users should uninstall the update.
  • … and more!

Tesla Issues Massive Recall Over a Potentially Terrifying Failure

Tesla is recalling more than 475,000 of its Model 3 and Model S electric vehicles due to a pair of safety issues with the rearview camera and the trunk, both of which could increase the risk of crashing. And yes, this is an actual recall, rather than the easier software update recalls we’ve seen from Tesla in the past. Read More »
