Action Buttons in Chat Conversations

First, we’ve introduced action buttons to chats. Before, you’d have to switch to your requests page to take the next step in an acquisition discussion or advisor engagement.

Now, you can respond to requests directly from the chat window, streamlining your workflow. We hope the increased momentum will help you close acquisitions faster. 

LOI Reminders for Sellers

Time is critical to successful acquisitions. When sellers don’t respond to LOIs, it can result in buyer frustration and the loss of other opportunities. Everyone deserves a fair shot. 

To prevent stalled conversations, we now send a reminder email asking sellers to respond to buyers’ LOI requests. This polite nudge should ensure you spend time where it matters. 

Startup and Advisor Statuses

Many of you have asked for greater transparency around the status of a startup or advisor since you don’t want to waste time if either is unavailable. Time is money, and we hear you. 

You can now view statuses when browsing the marketplace, giving you instant feedback on whether they’re archived, sold, rejected, listed, submitted, and more. Now you’re in the know. 

New Advisor Titles

Browsing the Advisor Directory can be a bit overwhelming if you’re a first-time seller. Some M&A terms are obscure, and you might not know whether an advisor’s listed expertise is right for you. 

To simplify things, advisors will now add titles to their profiles that reveal a little more about them. The additional context should help you find the right advisor faster and easier.
