Happy Tuesday, LifeSavviers! Jason had the nerve to go on vacation this week, so, I’m sorry to say, you’re stuck with moi, the Managing Editor. However, that doesn’t mean we won’t still be bringing you all the helpful hints and lifestyle trends you’ve come to expect from us.

Hopefully, most of you got to enjoy a three-day weekend in honor of  Presidents Day, and, if not, maybe you at least got an awesome deal on a new mattress?

Today, international travel is on the agenda because, after being cooped up for a few years, almost all of us are dreaming about getting away, amiright? Well, we’re in luck, because these five countries are now open (or soon will be) to U.S. visitors, so it’s time to start planning!

Can’t afford to get away for real? Travel by taste and cook some traditional dishes from any country you’d like to visit with these fabulous (and thorough) international cookbooks.

Speaking of cooking, if you make your own guac, you might’ve been wondering if you would even be able to get your avocados again, thanks to that ban by the USDA. Well, good news: it’s been lifted, so we’ll all soon be able to enjoy our chips and guac and avocado toast once again. Whew!

Speaking of that versatile green fruit, let’s gather around the water cooler for today’s trivia! Of course, people have been eating avocados for centuries, but even they have benefited from social media. In 2017, the aforementioned avocado toast was featured in over 3 million photos on Instagram. Not bad!
