Tip of the Day

Late seasons snowfall right on the cusp of spring tends to be wet and heavy to shovel because the ground is warmer. Be mindful of how heavy it is and protect your back.

Happy Friday! We have some fun stuff in today’s newsletter along with a look back at the most popular articles of the last week. For a bit of Friday fun, check out these ultra-realistic cakes that look just like other kinds of food (except, you know, cake). And for some fun for the bibliophiles in the crowd here’s a big list of book-themed gifts.

Over the last week here are some of the most popular articles, no time like a Friday afternoon to catch up!

And water cooler trivia? You know we always have some. If you got a late dusting of snow last night like many folks in the midwest and northeast United States did, you can be happy you’re not experiencing the Great Blizzard. On this day in 1888, the east coast got record snowfalls that included over 50 inches of snow on Connecticut and Massachusetts and high winds that produced 40-50 snowdrifts that towered over homes. All that makes shoveling a little bit of snow in March seem not so bad!
