Making of “A Dark Reflection”

The first inkling of this idea came to me while I was living in an apartment building in Virginia. The lights in the hallways would be completely off until they detected movement and then only that section of the hallway would light up until you activated the next set of lights as you moved further into the building. Of course, I thought this was sort of creepy and immediately imagined a “what if” scenario where the lights in the hallway turned on but there was clearly no one there to have triggered it. ...
