🌐 Google Chrome gets a new Bookmarks sidebar ✨

Chrome 99 was released weeks ago, but Google just added a new feature to Chrome anyway: There’s a new “side panel” for your bookmarks and reading list. Click the “Side Panel” button on Chrome’s toolbar to access it. You’ll find it to the left of the profile button on Chrome’s toolbar.

Google often hides new features like this behind flags, but this feature is rolling out to everyone using the current stable version of Google Chrome with no settings tweaks required. If you like the idea of a bookmarks sidebar, check it out.

(If you don’t see the feature yet, you may need to wait a bit for Google to enable it on your Chrome browser—it should arrive soon!)

Now if only Google Chrome would get an optional tab sidebar, just like Microsoft Edge.

Don’t like the Side Panel? You can disable it, if you like.
