I woke up this morning with multiple messages from people telling me I needed to check out a recent email sent from Empire Flippers.

In case you didn't hear, they just stated loud and clear that they are a big player and want large listings.

Here's briefly what the email says,

"First of all, we're increasing our minimum listing requirements.

We will only accept online businesses that are earning $2,000 per month in net profit over a 12-month average, up from our previous minimums of $500 for content sites and $1,000 for other monetizations. This new minimum applies to all business models."

In a nutshell, Empire Flippers will only accept listings of sites making over $2,000 a month.

I don't blame them...and seriously KUDOS!

Justin and Joe (founders of Empire Flippers) and I go WAY back. We were both sharing our early adventures together in 2010 on blogs that no longer exist.

We all were rookies together building niche sites. Now Empire Flippers has become a massive business selling multi-million dollar websites.

However, now where do you go to either buy OR sell sites making LESS than $2,000 a month?

Well, I'd like to remind you of Motion Invest!

When we founded Motion Invest, we literally picked the number of $2,000 a month in revenue as the high end threshold of sites we were really focusing on trying to serve.

(Although, we do still sell sites making over $2,000 a month, our "core" focus is under that threshold).

We love sites that are "only" making $100, $500, $1000, or $2000 a month. These are often great sites with lots of room for growth.

So, this is just a gentle reminder if you want a site making $2,000 a month or less, you can no longer find those on Empire Flippers.
