A GUIDE TO GROWING YOUR NETWORK & GENERATING OPPORTUNITIES ON AUTO-PILOT

Sometimes networking with other professionals can feel like an overwhelming task, until you start building momentum:

Here are 3 steps to growing your network and generating opportunities on auto-pilot:

1. Building your Dream 100.

Start by making a list of the 100 people you want to meet. Be realistic but also don't limit yourself. It's 2022, the internet has made it possible to get in touch with pretty much anyone over social media/email.

2. Leading with value.

Make it all about the person you're reaching out to.

Solve a problem they might be facing, or are going to be facing. Really do your best to research the individual so you understand their problems before reaching out to them. Always be a problem solver, not a problem maker.

3. Following up.

How many times has someone reached out to you and you were just too busy to get back to them? Just make sure you're staying conversational, and not coming off as spammy.


During this process, make sure you're always asking:

  • Would I respond to this message?

  • Is my message clear?

  • Am I coming off too aggressive?
