WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!!??: Well folks, readers of this newsletter can’t say they weren’t warned yesterday when I wrote “PLEASE READ BELOW, I’M LIKELY GOING TO SAVE YOU A SHIT TON OF MONEY,” or “folks ….. ignore yesterdays rally. It was short covering amid fear that Powell’s assessment would squeeze the bears.” I mentioned the issues with forward earnings two days in a row, how the China lockdowns & war in Ukraine aren’t fully priced into this earnings season, & even that the inflation numbers are but 3 trading days away. I also withdrew three stocks from the BUY LIST off that pump. I’ve pounded the table every day notifying my subscribers that the market ahead would likely be brutal. And while I have received some criticism & even perhaps frustration from a few subscribers for not adding to the buy list in a while, you now know why I’ve been hesitant.

Yesterday was a vindication of all newsletters leading up to that day, & I couldn’t be more proud to have alerted my subscribers on the impending disaster months in advance (Go ahead & read the past newsletters). And though it may have made a few people happy if I were to throw absolute garbage up on the BUY LIST for my readers to consider, I would have lost all credibility yesterday as my subscribers lost their asses on bad picks. That’s why I haven’t added to the BUY LIST lately. I’m not a buyer right now so why in God’s name would I add plays I’m not confident in? The only reason for such an action would be to incentivize new subscribers at the expense of posting bad picks … integrity demands I pick only those stocks I myself would buy or are currently buying. And I will NOT give you shitty stocks for personal financial gain through fishing for increased paid subscribership. Remember that unlike most folks who pick stocks, I maintain a running list of all my picks. My incentives are therefore not to fail, lest my newsletter fails.

SO WHAT ABOUT TRADING TODAY?: Sigh …. Inflation numbers on Wednesday … today is Friday … do you think its a good idea to trade end of the week with such a monumental report pending? I don’t, … even if the market does pump what the hell does Monday have in store for us? It’s why the first thing you see on every newsletter is the economic calendar. YES, it’s THAT IMPORTANT! So trade if you’re feeling lucky … or better yet, get an early start to your weekend instead. Money burning a hole in your pocket? Just ask yourself, will a rally off these lows be genuine bullish sentiment or temporary short covering? I think we know the answer. Of course, I could be wrong … but you have more to lose if I’m correct. I seriously doubt these lows mark the end of the selling.

Worse still, & this is a low confidence assessment, some institutions may be receiving margin calls … which if you remember the massive block selling as a result of Archegos, you will understand the implications thereof.
