If you aren’t reading this daily you are missing out on a wealth of information that could prevent unforced & unnecessary trading errors. MOST RECENT INSIDER BUYING: In an effort to provide more value to my paid subscribers I have moved the insider buys/sells to the paid section of the newsletter. For here on out I will report both insider buying & selling in the paid section of the newsletter. As many of my subscribers have found out, insider trades are substantive information that you can in fact day trade on for a quick profit. PAID SUBSCRIBERS: I removed AMKR & SAFM today. This leaves me with one position on the BUY LIST. There is plenty of more downside in this market. As TGT & WMT demonstrated, retail margins are garbage! NO CONFIDENCE: Traders no longer have confidence at these valuations. The market will likely gap down considerably more. I’ve been pounding the narrative for a bit. Sure, many of my paid subscribers were angry I didn’t add to the BUY LIST. But those who followed suit won out big. Remember that money not lost is money saved & he who loses least in a bear market earns the most. MY JOB NOW IS TO IDENTIFY COMPANIES THAT ARE VICTEMS OF GENERAL MARKET OVERSELLING. & I’ll find them! BIDEN OUT TO LUNCH ON GAS PRICES: Energy prices are a leading contributor of inflation. I continuously hear 4 major excuses on gas prices & none of them hold water for anyone who knows the industry. 1. Oil companies have leases they’re not using (Most are access leases) 2. Corporate greed (Oil/Gas prices are determined via the futures market) 3. Vladimir Putin (From a war that happened AFTER the President & NATO failed to threaten any SPECIFIC sanctions until AFTER the invasion … additionally the sanctions were voluntary) 4. OPEC / Global Market (We have our own resources). President Biden has either held a White House Summit or paid an industry visit on every issue that he wanted to fix. From unions, to big tech, to semi-conductors, to supply chain providers, to infrastructure builders, to green energy CEO’s, to vehicle manufacturers. Oil companies? No, not yet. It’s just an issue he doesn’t want to fix. In truth, politicians are threatening to tax oil companies more, the Biden Admin wants accelerated transfers to green energy, & Biden has canceled, restricted, or prevented leases necessary to produce more oil (Specifically in the Gulf of Mexico, Alaska, & Federal Lands). In truth, no company is going to expand production of fossil fuels when they have massive amounts of debt & their government is putting up barriers, restrictions, threatening taxes, … all while placing a sunset on the industry. A deal between the White House & oil companies is necessary to reduce the pain … & it isn’t going to happen! Want lower gas prices? You need to increase the supply or decrease the demand. The former requires the White House work with the oil & gas industry to get the futures lower, the latter requires we destroy the economy. Remember that gas prices are determined via the average price of gas in storage, averaged with the average price expected to replace it with, plus overhead, taxes, & markup. 1bbl of oil creates 19.5 gal of gas & current near month oil futures are trading at $110.00 … do the math & don’t forget to add taxes & overhead! Gas prices … will go higher! MARKET OVERVIEW & UPCOMING CATALYSTS: Existing Home Sales today (Consensus 5.65m) & New home sales on Monday (Consensus 0.758m). Significant News Heading into 05.19.2022:
