WHAT IS BUILD IN PUBLIC AND WHY SHOULD YOU DO IT?

We are entering into a new era of transparency within the startup space. Authenticity is king and building in public puts you in the spotlight to develop true fans and relationships with your community. 

So how does build in public work? 

Building in public is almost like sharing your own autobiography as a founder. 

Startups can share stories, trials and tribulations online whilst rallying a community dedicated to their cause. Building in public can allow you to not only grow a following and make money, but teach and inspire those who want to become their own founders. 

The pros of building in public are beyond impactful: 

  • Build internal and external trust.
  • Become more approachable and build your brand.
  • Attract top talent into your company.
  • Capture consumer attention with a compelling narrative they can get behind. 

How you can begin building in public:

  • Share behind the scenes screenshots and video footage of your progress.
  • Admit heartfelt stories that put you in a place of vulnerability.
  • Showcase your awesome company culture.
  • Ask your community for feedback.
  • Talk openly about roadblocks you're currently facing.
  • And of course, share those wins and milestones!

START UP BOOSTER - BotDisco

BotDisco is a no-code solution to building simple & complex Discord Bots. The biggest issue they are facing is community customization. People moderating Discord communities don't want to learn a programming language to build bots that can help them do what they need to do. Take the time to set this up because once you do, it will fill your calendar with more meetings then you can handle!
