Twenty years ago, I picked up a physical copy of David Allen’s book Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity.

I was at the (now-defunct) Barnes in Nobles in Union Square.

This was welllll before productivity blogs.

And it turns out that this book single-handedly was one of the most impactful books of my career. (In fact, I still re-read it every year).

We’ve found that Getting Things Done is the classic Tsundoku book — purchased by many, read by few.
