So, a couple of months ago, I shared that I decided to do something a little crazy.

I decided to publish 1,000,000 words of artificial intelligence generated content to see if it would rank in Google.

If you have been following me on Facebook or Twitter, you may have already seen this update...but I thought I'd share via email as well.

Long story short, my AI content project is NOT going well!

GSC shows 225 pages are indexed, but a Google site search shows only 7 pages show indexed. The site was growing for a week, then tanked.

This was before the Google May update, so that had nothing to do with the site progress.

I'll still publish 1 million AI words, but it might be a bust!

I haven't put any significant time into site, I just ordered content from RocketContent.ai and they have been publishing consistantly.

I assumed that the aged domain I got from Odys Global would have helped with the quick indexing.

On the "bright" side, I did put Ezoic display ads on my site and I've made $0.21!! So there's that! 😬

(I've now removed all ads until I get things indexed).

After chatting with a couple people, I'm going to put some effort into getting the site indexed better. If the site isn't even indexed in Google, it's obviously not going to get traffic.

So, I'll keep you posted once I get things indexed, and how I do it.

Overall, this little AI project is NOT going as planned, haha. But that's the reality, sometimes sites don't go as expected.

But I'm not giving up yet! I'll share the good as bad as they happen...
