Recruiting Brainfood for the week ahead - Issue #298

Brainfood Jobs: We are down to 4 live jobs on the board(!), down from a peak of hundreds when it was free, to a median of 35-40 when we went paid model. Got to say, this is one of the signals I use to get a vibe for the state of the market. However, compare that to the 73% of recruiters who say that they are still hiring for growth, and we see an incongruity. More to think about here, might do a labour market economics brainfood live on this. In the meantime though, perfect time to get high visibility for a recruiter job - congrats to Distillery, Wheely, Join Talent and KANDIDATE who are still hiring recruiters
Do big brands have it easier? Of course they do, though the problems shift to another stage of the hiring funnel. We’re going to be talking with recruiters who know how to message and engage with candidates when representing brands no one knows - if you’re not working for a household name, this one is for you. Friday 1st July 2pm BST / 3pm BST - register here
Special thanks this week to: Carl-Christoph Fellinger, Eugène van den Hemel, Kevin Green, Garry Turner, Joey NK Koksal, Oonagh Clarke, Bas van de Haterd, John Bersentes, Eva Zils, Eva Baluchova, Tim Sanchez, Colin Donnery, Patricia Chmielowiec, Tim Sackett, Nico Meyering, David Green, Camille Mongabure and Ross Clennett for your support on all things brainfood - it really helps keep this show on the road - thank you!
Now check out your scores on the Brainfood Hall of Fame😉
Can you help? Simply share this link recruitingbrainfood.com on a LinkedIn status update and recommend it to your network - it’s the best way to keep the growing the brainfood community.
Cheers!

Given that dialling the clock back on human progress is currently in the thing to do, I found myself wondering quite how far back the powers that be plan to go. How about the Late Permian?
