Sorry Movie Theaters, I'm Never Going Back

Read in Browser

June 27, 2022

The world is pretty well turning to something closely resembling normal, and one of the chief signs of that is movies. For a while there you could see all the latest and greatest movies without going to a theater—you could just stream them.

But now theaters are up and running again, and movies aren’t skipping straight to streaming as an option. And you know what? No. I’m not doing it. I’m not going back to the movie theater. I don’t have to. I’ll tell you how and why in the top story.

Other Highlights:

  • Instagram wants a selfie from your teen. But the reasons are less nefarious than you think (maybe).
  • The Raspberry Pi 4 is an affordable, powerful, and amazing little mini-computer… that you can’t find anywhere. We put together a list of alternatives.
  • Hey, what is Sony sold a slim PS5? Probably not going to happen. So someone made one!
  • …and more!

TODAY'S TOP STORY Sorry Movie Theaters, I’m Never Going Back

Don’t Blink and Miss the Great Outdoors

These days, it’s easy to find Wi-Fi cameras you can place all-around your home. That’s handy for checking in on the pets or spotting intruders when you’re not home. But what about outside? Not just any old camera can withstand rain and snow. Whether you’re looking for security or to do some bird watching, you may want to pick up a Blink Outdoor camera. It runs off AA batteries, will last a year on a charge, requires no wiring, and can withstand the elements. Not bad for a camera that won’t break the bank.
