A fan-first experience can be anything from a one-off live event to the everyday action of making a purchase on your website. Whatever it is, if you can make that experience unforgettable, your marketing will be enhanced in two important ways.

1. It delights your audience, so that they’ll become repeat customers and lifelong, raving fans.

2. It creates both in-house and user-generated content which you can use to reinforce your marketing strategy across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and wherever else you reach out to your audience. When more people see that you give customers an unforgettable experience, they’ll buy into your brand.

This strategy relies on reaching a lot of people, so that should be reflected in your analytics. You’re not aiming for likes or comments. You want people to share content about your brand experience. For this specific type of marketing, the number of shares matters more than any other metric.
