Copywriters,

Keep your promises tangible.

Don’t say “Get a better smile”, say “Fix your teeth in 12 months or less”.

Don’t say “Lose fat”, say “Lose 10lbs in your first 12 weeks”

Don’t say “Get better skin”, say “30% less blackheads in the first week”.

Tangibility sells.

With our classic "tshirt" t-shirt we wanted to create the "if you know - you know" effect.

It doesn't have AHREFS logo plastered all over it.
It doesn't turn anyone wearing it into a walking billboard for the company.

It's just a subtle hint that the owner is into SEO (*wink)

Learning TikTok Ads is cool.

Learning YouTube is cool.

Learning email marketing is cool.

But you should understand what motivates and drives people first.

Then learn the platforms.

That will separate you as a marketer.

Up until a week ago, searching for “King Charles” on Google got you results for the dog breed (cute).

But since the Queen died (9/8) and King Charles III became king, Google shows a different search result.

The reason is keyword freshness, one of the biggest factors in SEO.

I've learned more from Audible than I did from my college degree which left me $50,000 in debt.

In fact.

I learned so much from Audible I built a massive business, secured my financial future for my family and paid off my student loans 20+ years early.
