Police offer clarity in 'unknown person' mystery from Pelosi home break-in.
Washington Examiner (Right) • Factual Grade 74% • 2 min read

After San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott offered details on the incident on Friday, Politico reported that when officers arrived at the house, they "knocked on the front door and were let inside by an unknown person." This excerpt led to speculation that there may have been a third party.
    ...
Authorities said they believe [42-year-old David DePape] broke in through the back door [and that] there were only two people in the home at the time of the break-in: Paul Pelosi and DePape. Police witnessed the suspect attack Paul Pelosi with a hammer. Paul Pelosi, who is 82, underwent successful surgery to repair a skull fracture and serious injuries to his right arm and hands. He is expected to make a full recovery.
    ...
Although they have not stated a suspected motive, Scott said, “This was not a random act.” Journalists have dug into online posts believed to be from DePape, some of which reference the QAnon conspiracy theory. DePape had a bag containing zip ties, sources told CNN. The assailant [reportedly] shouted, "Where is Nancy?" after breaking into the home.

HIGHLIGHTED COMMENTS

Yes - Inflation destroys wealth and cash flow, hitting our poorest communities the hardest. Raising interest rates tied to curbing inflation will negatively impact the housing industry and it makes the cost of business investment higher, which will curb investment (which leads to growth). As things become increasingly more expensive to purchase and/or invest in, people and companies will pull back (out of necessity) which will lower GDP, and ultimately lead to a recession. It will take some time for the demand for labor to subside, leading to an inevitable reduction in workforce.
