I started a new podcast earlier this year called Open Threads.

It’s 30 episodes in now... I think it's here to stay!

Here's what it's all about. If you listen in, I'd love your feedback :)

Different conversations with familiar people.

I'm always curious about what founder-friends (new and old) are into when we're not working on our businesses. This is my (public) space to have those conversations.

...But sometimes we talk shop too (can't resist!)

One topic per episode.

Whether the topic is life or biz-related, I focus every episode's conversation around a single subject. When you choose an episode from the archive, you should know exactly what you're getting into. It's not a random gamble with your time.

How I choose guests & topics for my podcast:

I lean toward friends or people I follow (makes prep a lot easier!).

I'm open to topic pitches too (reply to this thread!). Must be specific, non-promotional, different. Here are some topics I generally look for (among others).

Life-topics I'm exploring with guests on my pod:

• Your hobby. Take us down the rabbit hole.
• Where you're from, what's the story there?
• Your takes/stance on stuff (news, politics, culture)
• A unique experience you haven't talked about
• Parenting as an entrepreneur 

Business topics I'm exploring with guests on my pod:

• Story behind a significant recent project
• Product design & process
• Unconventional marketing
• Team building & remote culture
• The most challenging aspects people don't talk publicly about
• The mental game
