The Practical Guide to Rebellion: Part 1
As we discussed in our article One Way Out, it’s liberating when we band together, get behind our values, and commit to them in unison. That’s when we have the most power and real change happens. With that said, choosing freedom is something you can do every day. Yes, some day we might all be in same corridor yelling “One Way Out” as we run toward the sunlight. But until then, defeating the elites can be done one person or family at a time. Rebellion is a lifestyle. Daily choices and priorities. Here are some ideas for choosing freedom in ways big and small. Let’s start with the big: Value familyThis one is easy to understand. A mom and a dad raising, nurturing, and educating their children to bless each other and those around them. Rinse and repeat. That’s how we’ve always done it. Family is a breathtakingly simple setup, -- proof that it was obviously ordained by nature and nature’s God -- but it provides safety, community, and financial stability. . . It facilitates the development of our mind, body, and soul. We know this from anthropology, sociology, and every other “ology” – including theology. Only a fool would deny this. Of course, we are surrounded by fools. They ignore the obvious value of family and don’t get married. Or marry someone of the same sex. And they don’t have kids. And when it looks like they’re about to have kids, they kill them before they are born. Instead, they worship Tinder or whatever anesthetic helps them numb the emptiness of their barren, godless existence. Let’s face it, the progressive left hates family because it’s the only social unit that’s almost impossible for them to disrupt and control. Ignore these fools. Better yet, do the exact opposite. Honor and defend family above all else. In whatever way you can. Have as many kids as practical. Train them up in the way they should go. Build a strong network with other families. Take control of their education. Stay as connected as possible through mealtimes, movie nights, family days, etc. In our upside-down world, the single most rebellious thing you can do is value family. Prioritize your healthAmerica First warriors need to be strong in body, mind, and spirit. Question for you: If society went sideways tomorrow, who would you rather have by your side? The purple-haired, gamer, TikToker from Austin? Or the hunter, wrestler kid from Iowa who can ride horses, fix cars, and shoot guns? Surely you don’t need to think about this. Luckily, those Iowa kids are on our side. If that’s you, we thank you for leading the way. One of the best ways to live like a rebel is to be fit and healthy. It helps with mental clarity, creates positive emotions, and generally makes you harder to kill. It allows you to stand proudly next to that hunter, wrestler kid and do your part – in both a culture war or even a real war. Your health is decided by the little choices. Eating a little better. Prioritizing sleep a little more. Moving a little more and lifting heavier things. Start with what works and what’s sustainable, then sort it out from there. Put Faith FirstNothing is more threatening to elitist, leftwing nutjobs than your faith. No matter how much power they accrue, you still see them as small. Because you have faith in a creator who’s far more powerful. A creator that is literally beating your heart – and theirs. Man, they hate that. Which - as usual - is a good sign. Of course, we don’t pursue faith out of spite. That’s just a bonus feature. We pursue it because God is real, and we’re smart enough to act accordingly. Our faith isn’t a personal development program either (Tony Robbins just yelled, “Amen!”). That’s just another bonus feature. We pursue faith because we are a part of something bigger, more glorious, and longer lasting than our everyday struggles. And recognizing that brings more wholeness and healing to our lives, our families, and everyone within our sphere of influence. We won’t always get it right, and we won’t always agree on the details of how it should look. But at the end of the day, when you’re at a crossroads and don’t know what to do, just ask that thing that’s beating your heart. That’s the big picture. In our next edition, we’ll boil it down to daily acts of rebellion. This is the way. God bless and God bless America, -Jeff and Luke |
