Cybertruck

Cybertruck tonneau cover 📹
Nice demo of the tonneau cover in the Cybertruck! So smooth!

CyberTruck and Franz 📷
Franz von Holzhausen is Tesla's chief designer. He joined Tesla to lead the design of the Model S, and since then, he has produced so many awesome cars. We really appreciate Franz and love seeing him so happy posing in front of the Cybertruck. Thank you, Franz, for all that you do!

FSD

Tesla FSD Beta 11.3.1 rolling out to employees 📷
This is the over-the-air update that contains more text warning the driver to not become complacent and pay extra attention.

FSDBeta 11.3.1 - Single Stack First Drive 📹
Another great video dropped by @Chazman, this time on the single stack released with the latest software update. Bigger projected path, deacceleration reflected in the visuals, and overall, quite a few improvements without regressions. For those of you not familiar with the single stack, it refers to the fact that Tesla is now applying everything it has learned in city driving to its Navigation on Autopilot highway feature. Check it out.

FSD Beta 11.3.1 visual indications when slowing down 📷
As seen in the previous video, but more in detail in these pics shared by @DirtyTesla, with 11.3.1, deacceleration is clearly shown on the screen which, judging by the videos shared so far, seems subtle but very helpful. I'm looking forward to experiencing this one. Hopefully in everyone's cars by end of Q1 🤞

Charging

Sneak peek at the World's First Tesla Supercharger V4 in the Netherlands 📹
Spotted in Harderwijk, Netherlands, what seems to be one of the first V4 Superchargers in the world. Rumor says it's to be open in Q2 2023. Credit goes to the YouTube channel electricfelix, thank you for sharing!

CCS1 Retrofit cost
This Tesla owner has shared the cost of the CCS1 retrofit on Reddit. There was some miscommunication around if the $450 cost included labor, and it seems it does (as well as the parts). Good to hear!

Tesla Models To offer bi-directional charging capability by 2025
Many EVs offer bi-directional charging, which enables them to charge other EVs or power your home if your electrical installation allows it. During Investor Day last week, Tesla mentioned that they will be adding this capability to their cars in 2025. I know many of you have been asking about it for some time already, so it's exciting to hear that it's finally coming!

Model S & X

Model S and Model X price reductions
  • Model S AWD: $89,990, down 5.2% from $94,990
  • Model S Plaid: $109,990, down 4.3% from $114,990
  • Model X AWD: $99,990, down 9.09% from $109,990
  • Model X Plaid: $109,990, down 8.33% from $119,990

Model X Plaid HW4 📷
This Reddit user has just picked up their car with HW4. We've heard rumors in the past about possible cameras in the bumper, but there are none in these pictures. The pictures are really good and worth taking a look.

🤓 What the acronym
As a Tesla fan, I find myself sometimes having to remember what are all those acronyms, here is a list of the ones you can find in this issue.
  • AWD - All-Wheel Drive
  • CCS - Combined Charging System
  • EV - Electric Vehicle
  • FSD - Full Self-Driving
  • HW - Hardware
