Everyone's raving about it, but it was built in a hurry, and there are rumors about shaky foundations. You might enjoy the high life for a bit, but what if the next big storm hits?
2. The SteadyHaven Cottage: Nestled in a consistent neighborhood, this charming cottage has been around for years. It's well-built, has a blooming garden, and a tight-knit community around it. Sure, it doesn't have the VR balconies, but it's weathered many storms, and people who live there tend to stay for generations.

Now, let's translate this into online business:

• The SkyRocket Tower is that exciting new online business. It might be a cutting-edge AI-powered fashion site that predicts trends. While it looks glamorous now, its technology might be unproven, and customer loyalty is untested. What happens when the novelty wears off or a competitor arrives?
• The SteadyHaven Cottage represents a stable content website. For instance, a cooking blog with timeless recipes, community engagement, and a loyal following. It may not have the AI flashiness, but it has dependable revenue from various sources like ads, affiliate marketing, and a subscription model.

So, which would you choose?

• SkyRocket Tower is like a thrilling roller coaster ride. Exciting, but potentially unstable. Its attraction may be temporary, and investing in it might lead to a bumpy ride.
• SteadyHaven Cottage is like a trusted family car. It may not be the fanciest, but it's reliable, safe, and gets you where you want to go.

Buying an online business that's stable and has been around a while is like investing in a solid, well-maintained home. It might not make your heart race, but it'll provide warmth, shelter, and steady appreciation over time. And with some improvements...it will be worth LOTS more.

In the flashy digital landscape, it's the steady cottages that often turn out to be the wisest investments. 🚀🏡💼

Now that we understand that - we DO want businesses that we can make quick improvements to!

Sometimes we can find a simple change and GREATLY improve the cashflow and value of an asset.

Here as a great example of how one small change, can add $25k in value with a few hours of work:

By switching to Lasso to display products, he added $700 a month in profit to this site. Which at a normal multiple adds $25k+ to the value of the site if he sells it.

This water website has been around for over 1 year and 10 months.

✔ ~58% of the current ranking keywords have informational intent (according to SEMRUSH). The buyer can focus on editing and improving the content that is already on the site.

✔ Site is currently monetized via Amazon with the opportunity to expand into other monetization methods. The seller also earns some money via Shopify Collabs. Only Amazon was included in the income average.

✔ The top 10 keywords are down over 12 months (according to Ahrefs).

✔ The site doesn’t have a logo and the theme is plain. So that could be something for the buyer to improve upon after taking over.
