Folyo - What does a GOOD agency lead look like?

A question that a lot of agency owners struggle with is how to determine if a lead is a good fit for your agency?

Here's a checklist of criteria you can use when you come across a lead:

• They have a good budget listed in their RFP / project scope ($30k+)

• The organization/company looks legit

• The decision-maker is the one sharing the RFP / project

• The deadline gives enough time to apply

• The work is high-value (like a website redesign)

Only if a lead passes all of these criteria do you consider it. Why? Because if they don't it's not worth pursuing.

• Outside of the web design/development niche

• Mentions low budget or bad platform (like Upwork)

• Person posting looks like a freelancer or is sub-contracting out work

• The person is based in a much lower paying country
