Digiday - The state of publisher revenue in 2024
Publishers continue facing pressure to maintain revenue growth — even amid slows in ad buys and declines in traffic. On top of this, 2024 presents additional challenges such as the final deprecation of third-party cookies in Chrome and ever-changing social media algorithms. In this new survey-driven report, learn how publishers are optimizing revenue and, specifically, how they incorporate total revenue management into their organizations. Most (89%) expect ad revenue to increase this year, with 67% expecting that increase to be between 21%–40%. While optimistic, this could be due to virtually all respondents (98%) saying total revenue optimization is somewhat to very important to their revenue plans this year.
