Facebook’s growing e-commerce audience. Amazon might be the go-to site for brand new items, but Meta has 3.07 billion monthly active users (MAUs) as of the end of 2023, with 40% of them active on Marketplace. In contrast, Amazon has 310 million MAUs for the same period. Does this mean it’s just a matter of when it will take over the e-commerce crown from Amazon?

Another one bites the dust. One more Amazon facility closes its doors this year. A Tukwila, Washington warehouse was confirmed to be closing as it was revealed that 172 of its employees would be laid off.
