AI isn’t a person in your target audience. But it can create realistic marketing personas to fill in gaps, if you use these 8 powerful prompts.

Stakeholder interviews are the best way to learn about your audience. But those take a lot of time, and you aren’t going to be able to talk to everyone you need to. And you aren’t going to be able to just call them and ask them followup questions whenever you need insight. It’s a flaw in the process.

AI may be able to fix that. If you create an AI marketing persona, you can create an artificial version of a member of your target audience that’s always there for you. You can ask them about their goals, their obstacles, what matters most to them, and how you can reach them. Always on, and ready to serve.

The best prompts for creating your new AI persona is very detailed. It should include:

Job title
Business category and mission
Company size and geography
Business objectives
Goals and pain points
Criteria for making a buying decision
