Stolen Tactics

#1 - The Newsletter → Social loop (again)

We’ve already talked about how to link your newsletter content with your social content and create a loop that brings you more subscribers

Today, I found another example on the wild, this time by copy legend Eddie Shleyner. This is how it goes:

#2 - Ask your audience about their problems

If you have somewhat of an audience, this is a no-brainer:

→ Ask them directly what they struggle with the most like Jay did here 👇️

A poll is great for quickly understanding their pains, but the real gold is in the replies:

I simply took two replies to this post and uncovered two more problems Jay’s audience has.

Then it’s just a matter of picking one of these problems and solving it with your content

#3 - Be the reply guy

This has to be one of the oldest tricks for growing an audience on social media, but the fact that I’m still talking about it today means it still works.

I like to call it the “Snipe method”, and it’s very simple:

1. Create a list of accounts you want to network with. Preferably, they have a bigger audience in your niche.

2. Turn on notifications for them

3. Once they post, be among the first to reply

4. Make that reply GOOD, so actually engage with what the person is saying, don’t do a simple “Great post bro”
