Be a positive difference-maker every day.

There is a noticeable absence of attentive leaders and true heroes. When I was growing up as a kid, there was an abundance of such individuals.

There is a dignity to doing something well.

A friend asked me the other day, "How are you living your life?" My answer was, "as a compassionate human being."

We share more common ground with those who may seem different on the surface than we often realize. Our shared values and experiences unite us in ways we may not always recognize.

Our greatest challenge is to summon the courage to push our own boundaries and challenge ourselves. It's in these moments of bravery that we truly grow.

 It is vitally important that each of us position ourselves in a manner that allows us to control our future.
