If it wasn't for a remix version of a bonus song, Salt-N-Pepa may not have ever hit the top of the charts. Turns out that "Push It," the popular hip-hop single of the late '80s, wasn't even on the album they released originally; it was a last-minute addition, recorded in a bathroom, to fill a spot on a B-side. Sometimes the good things need to be rediscovered and pushed in a different direction to reach their potential and uniqueness.
